ABOUT OUR EVENTS...
Zutique Productions is organizing concerts and artistic events in Dijon and in Burgundy. We are supporting emerging artists and amateur practices. All of those events are focused on creation and transmission.
The highlight of our programmation is the Tribu festival which is a world-music festival we created 20 years ago. We are also proposing an artistic programmation for local partners events, like the festivals Grésilles en fête or Les Nuits d’Orient, which are set up by the city of Dijon. We are working as well with the archeological museum of Bibracte which organizes a festival each year around their current exhibition. In 2019, we started working an a new project with Le Collectif du M.U.R: Banana Pschit !!! The first urban art festival in Dijon.
We are organizing some concerts during the year, and we are always willing to explore different kinds of music.
Most of our events take place in Dijon, but the association develops some projects in the whole region of Burgundy.

TRIBU FESTIVAL
From 27th September to 6th October 2019
Since 1999, Tribu Festival shows the diversity of musical expressions and gives the audience the opportunity to travel around the world through world music, jazz, hip hop and more music! This back-to-school season festival is a major event of Dijon: during ten days, we propose more than thirty shows in various places in Dijon and the surrounding areas.
Our aim is to create a convivial event, that is why we are also proposing some free concerts, some shows for school students or for the prisoners of the House of Detention of Dijon.
During the last week-end of the event, we create a village of the festival near the Port du Canal and we turn this place into a friendly spot where the citizens can discover worldwide artists and cultures.

CONCERT SEASON
Zutique Productions is organizing gigs in Dijon all year round! Each time, we focus on different styles of music: jazz, hip hop, world music.
This year we invited the Cape Town rapper Dope Saint Jude, the guitarist Patrice Soletti, the jazzmen Aymeric Avice and Daunik Lazro, K.LIM and more to come...
In 2018, we invited the jazz and experimental rock band Evil Usses, the latina music orchestra Mambanegra, the rapper from Burkina-Faso Joey le soldat and many more...
In 2017, we invited the Lebanese artist Bachar Mar-Khalifé, the band KOKOKO! from Kinshasa, Francky goes to Pointe-à-Pitre and also Phat Kat, Guilty Simpson, Percee P and sorg for a night dedicated to US rap!
In 2016, we programmed Bixiga 70, the jazzman Guillaume Perret, Bamba Wassoulou Groove, Eténèsh Wassié and Mathieu Sourisseau, Konono n°1…
Those events are organized in different cultural places of Dijon, held by our cultural partners. Those concerts are each time a new occasion for us to allow the audience to discover talentuous artists inspired by world music.
Banana Pschit !!!
From 10th to 25th October 2019
Banana Pschit !!! is the first urban art festival organized in the city of Dijon. During the first edition, more than 30 world famous urban artists were invited to create original works of art in the public space. They are all the result of various artistic technics and showcase all forms of urban art: jams, concerts, murals, live painting, film projections and exhibitions.

GRÉSILLES EN FÊTE
29th June 2019
Grésilles en Fête is a popular neighborhood festival organized by the city of Dijon. Every year during Spring, this event is a friendly time for the citizens of Les Grésilles.
Zutique Productions, whose office is also located in this neighborhood, is in charge of a part of the programmation. Our purpose is to allow the audience to discover some emerging artists and original performances. To do so, we are building the programmation with our partners and with the citizens, in order to create a mixed-culture festival.
In 2018, we invited bands like Derbuka Social Club, Tarbiya, Tiwiza, Pachibaba, Mustapha Oussibou.
In 2017, we invited the band Sofiane Saidi & Mazalda and the Colombian band Canalon de Timbiqui.
In 2016, for the 20th birthday of this festival, we invited world music artists like Renata Rosa and Terakaft, and we also organized a circus show, a street-art exhibition of the work of Eltono and an interactive maze named Laberint II.
During Grésilles en Fête, we collaborate with cultural and social partners and some volunteers of the neighborhood.
BIBRACTE
Bibracte is a museum and a European archeological center located in the Morvan countryside, near Dijon. Zutique Productions worked with this cultural place on a lot of different events. Between 2005 and 2013, we took care of the musical programmation of the « Repérages » festival, which focused each year on a different city of the world.
In 2019, we partnered with Bibracte for the programmation of Beuvray Festival. During this free event, animations around archeology and the Mount Beuvray took place, as well as an open stage for local artists, a concert from the reggae singer Williams Brutus and the Dub Night with Kebra Ethiopia and Dubatriation Sound System.
In 2017 and 2018, we programmed concerts for a festival which celebrated the end of the excavation work of a big Roman house.
And in 2016, we worked on the « Wed Bindé » festival, which was build around a temporary exhibition concerning the african Iron Age.
LES NUITS D'ORIENT
From 22nd November to 8th December 2019
The festival Les Nuits d’Orient is an event organized by the city of Dijon. Since the early days of this festival, Zutique Productions proposes each year a wide programmation: hip hop dance shows, dj sets, oriental musics, tales…
Every year, we organize some events like concerts and creation workshops. We also propose some events at the House of Detention of Dijon in order to meet a wide and various audience.
This year, we will invite the project Orpheus XXI, an ensemble of around twenty musician refugees and migrants lead by the famous gambiste Jordi Savall. They will perform at the Grand Théâtre on Saturday 30th November. Click here to get tickets.
In 2018, we invited Näss (Les gens), a dance show created by the Massala Company. It is a performance between urban dances and traditional musics of North Africa.
In 2017, we invited the artist Magyd Cherfi, who performed a concert and also read some extracts of his texts. The Shanbehzadeh ensemble was also on stage for DJ « Le Cabaret Oriental », which is organized by some of our partners and takes place on a popular neighborhood of Dijon. The storyteller Aïni Iften was also there and shared with a various audience some traditional oriental tales.
ARCHIVES
MÉGAPHONE - 2009
Mégaphone is an event born from two festivals: Tribu Festival and Why Note. The associations Zutique Productions and Why Note wanted to gather a new generation of artists who refuse labels and who come from various styles: jazz, rock, acoustic, electronic... A festival based on curiosity and discovery.
MADE IN - 2004/2007
The event Made In focused each year on a different country: Brasil, Maroc, India... It welcomed various international artists through debates, projections, workshops. An event which defended diversity and cultural exchanges.
LA CASBAH BOUTARIC - 2007/2013
La Casbah Boutaric was a participative event located at the bottom of our block, in a popular neighborhood. It allowed the residents to meet some artists through a large variety of activities.
REPÉRAGES - 2005/2013
Every two years, Repérages took place in the Morvan countryside. Each edition put light on a different European city and focused on music, visual arts, cinema, archeology...
HUMAN BEATBOX FESTIVAL - 2007/2014
This festival proposed concerts, workshops, masterclass and conferences around the art of the beatbox.
